LocalLink
The LocalLink safety and security system picks up emergency signals from remote sensors and automatically sends alerts to a family member, carer or warden by means of an InfoPager. Sensors are available for smoke detection, carbon monoxide, fall, epilepsy, door entry and exit and many other situations. Messages displayed on the InfoPager are detailed stating the nature of the emergency event e.g. ‘Smoke Detect’ and the location e.g. ‘Room 5’ The installation of the LocalLink system provides the means to securely and discreetly monitor the alarm events in a number of residential occupancies at the same time.

Telecare
Telecare is the continuous, automatic and remote monitoring of alarm events in order to manage risks and provide vulnerable people with the security and confidence to live independently, maintaining quality of life. Possum provides the LocalLink system with the addition of a specialised telephone for the off site monitoring of alarms and care phone activation as additional back up.

NurseCall Link
The NurseCall Link enables patients with extremely limited movement and are unable to hold a conventional nurse call button, to use existing nurse call systems by using any of a choice of over 100 specialist disability switches.

Paging
Possum provides solutions for the activation of an InfoPager by means of a pendant, environmental controller, specialist switches or by a sensor as part of the LocalLink system. The Info Pager can be programmed to display information on the source and location of the alarm and can be tailored to the requirements of each individual client.

MultiLink
The MultiLink module acts as an interface to a range of the assistive technology solutions including interfacing with pressure mats to send a message to the InfoPager when activated by client movement from a bed or chair, which is especially useful during the night.
